Situated in the Brahamgiri Hills, Pakshipathalam is one of the most famous hill resorts in the Wayand district in gods own country, Kerala. You can reach at the top of the hill only through trekking. Prime attractions-

Kuruvadweep- covering an area of 950 acres, Kuruvadweep is one of the most beautiful islands of the district Wayanad. It is located at the bank of Kabani River, just 17 km from Mananthavady.

Chembra Peak- Situated just 14 km away from Kalpetta; it is one of the highest peaks in the district. With the height of 2100 meter, Chembra peak is perfect destination for adventure seekers.

Since Pakshipathalam falls in one of the most important district of Kerala; Wayanad, thus it celebrates almost all major festivals such as Onam, Pongal, and Thrisoor etc of the state. But the major festivals of the hill station include Shri Thirunelli Devaswom and Valliyoorkavu.
